(U.S.) Prohibition on Transporting “External” Batteries for Small Cameras (Lithium Batteries)

Hello,
For small cameras, lithium batteries cannot be installed inside the device, so they are transported with the battery exposed on the outside.
Today, we received a request from the airline to cooperate so that such cases are not shipped.
Please note that, for shipments departing New Jersey from 10/10 onward, small cameras and separately packaged lithium batteries inside the box, as shown in the attachment, will not be shippable.
At present, "batteries built into the device can be classified under a special code and shipped," but batteries exposed separately on the outside are classified as non-shippable due to fire risk.
The product below is currently not shippable because it is a lithium battery exposed on the outside; if it is punctured by a sharp object, it can produce a strong spark and ignite.
