(China) Confiscation of counterfeit brand and character goods in China

Recently, during customs clearance, products with brand intellectual property rights such as shoes (representative brands like Nike and Adidas), bags, accessories, and mobile phone cases
are being inspected closely and all of them are being disposed of. (Even one item for personal use is not allowed.)
This also includes character goods (Hello Kitty, Disney, etc.).
The products above are brands subject to trademark rights/intellectual property rights, and in principle they are items that cannot be cleared through customs.
For example, even if you purchased a genuine item on Taobao, if there are no supporting documents and customs determines it to be counterfeit,
please note that disadvantages such as product disposal may occur, and please keep this in mind when making purchases.
If you have a certificate or other document that can identify the item as 100% genuine, please check the brand option, and we will proceed with proof-based customs clearance separately through simplified customs clearance. (Large quantities, cosmetics, food, brands, etc.) Special products are
not sent through simplified customs clearance, and disposal customs clearance fees of 33,000 KRW are incurred at customs. The amount above is collected by customs, and
of course, if you agree to dispose of the entire shipment, it will not be incurred.
Currently, only for brand customs clearance, an additional 1,500 KRW is charged on top of the simplified customs clearance fee. For other cases, Uni Service
Even after recognizing that it is counterfeit, many customers ask us to handle disposal for them. (This is not possible ^^;)
Also, if "goods in violation of trademark rights" and "goods with no issues" are mixed together for import, a full inspection and split customs clearance may significantly delay import clearance (you may need to explain again and resubmit the invoice, which may take about a week).
Please refer to this information carefully to avoid disadvantages when purchasing counterfeit brands or character goods.
If counterfeit and problematic goods are received separately, a cartoon split fee of 5,500 KRW and a disposal fee of 5,500 KRW will also be charged. In this case, if you request disposal of the entire shipment, no separate fee will be charged.
Please note that Uni cannot guarantee the disposal or customs clearance of brand goods and character goods.
