(China) Simplified customs clearance notice for 5–10 identical items, heavy items, etc.

Hello, this is Uni Auction.
As the number of purchases made for resale under personal customs clearance below $150 has recently increased
customs has been treating cases with 5–10 identical products or heavy items as ineligible for personal customs clearance, and they may be withdrawn to simplified customs clearance (explanation required).
If withdrawn, the goods will be released after an explanation is provided. (In many cases, they are actually intended for resale.)
If a shipment is withdrawn from personal clearance to simplified clearance (separate inspection), a customs broker fee of KRW 22,000 will be incurred.
Accordingly, for shipment cases with a high likelihood of being withdrawn, we are filing them from the start as simplified clearance (separate inspection) through a customs broker.
In that case, our own customs broker fees (air KRW 1,600 / sea KRW 2,500) and customs warehouse fees will be charged separately.
* Recently, products with 5–10 identical items are almost always being withdrawn if not declared as simplified clearance. (Fee: KRW 22,000)
Of course, even if we declare them as simplified clearance, if customs determines the items are for resale, duties will be imposed regardless of the purchase amount.
For normal purchases, they are usually only subject to inspection, so such cases are rare.
As inquiries about cases declared as simplified clearance or withdrawn from personal customs clearance to simplified clearance have increased, we are informing you in advance.
Since customs broker fees arise due to simplified customs clearance, and in order to simplify this process,
for faster delivery, we decided after consultation with the customs clearance provider to prepay the amount on behalf of Uni Auction.
This means we will prepay the simplified clearance fee as a service, which simplifies the payment process and allows you to receive your items a little faster. The cost will also be paid by Uni Auction.
The prepaid service will begin today, Wednesday, 4/20.
This does not apply if you are purchasing multiple items for personal use without duplicate items. Cases declared as simplified clearance are only a very small number of cases as noted above. When filling out the shipping request form, please copy the Taobao order details as they are and enter the item information accurately.
After entering the product name, if you select the item category below, it will be declared under that category, so please set the category correctly as well!
If the purchase is for personal use, cases involving 5–10 identical items are extremely rare. If you are purchasing for resale, please use business customs clearance.
