[U.S.] Notice on Strengthened Customs Clearance for Shipping Agent Parcels (Product Name, Undervaluation)
Hello, this is Uniauction. :D
Recently, as the volume of overseas direct purchases (where consumers pay directly and enter product names themselves) has increased sharply,
inaccurate product names and undervaluation cases (declaring a lower price) have also increased significantly.
At Uniauction, we do not engage in undervaluation, which goes against proper overseas shopping practices and customs regulations.
If you purchase according to the correct product name and in line with the policies for standard customs clearance and consolidated customs clearance, there will be no problems.

Recently, as cases have increased at the express carrier handling Uniauction customs clearance where undervalued amounts are declared or product names are changed for clearance,
or where items are simply described with only an item number so that the product cannot be easily identified during customs clearance,
customs authorities have announced that inspections will be strengthened together with an increase in fines.
For cases of incomplete product name declaration, the fine is expected to increase from 50,000 KRW to 100,000 KRW,
and fines for undervaluation are also said to increase if detected.
For fines, after correcting the price, duties and taxes will first be levied,
and then the fine will be imposed within 1 to 2 months while listed on the enforcement queue.
If detected, you will need to submit price documentation, and customs clearance will be delayed, which may also cause inconvenience to others
through delays in customs clearance. Please make sure to enter the exact product name and the actual payment amount (as shown on the invoice)
when completing your shipping request.
Thank you :D
