1. Items eligible for simplified customs clearance.
Mask products (up to 300 units recognized for personal use), hand sanitizer products, thermometers, and the above 3 types of items.
2. Period during which simplified customs clearance is allowed.
Based on the date of arrival in Korea, from March 5, 2020 to June 30, 2020.
The period is subject to change, and we will provide separate notice if any changes are confirmed.
3. Notes, etc.
The system may be applied only for personal use and for the import of small quantities by individuals.
Accurate HS information must be entered.

Thermometer products HS 90
The system cannot be applied retroactively to items imported before the system took effect.
Please review the above and report properly so that there will be no disadvantage due to misuse of the system.
When filling out the application, item selection is an important criterion for distinguishing between general and simplified customs clearance. Please select correctly and register the data accordingly, and customs declaration will be processed based on it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recommendation for exemption from import requirement verification for mask products is available.
* When a business purchases masks for purposes other than resale, such as distribution to employees, stockpiling, or donation, a new procedure has been established and implemented to exempt import approval.
To summarize briefly;
1. When a business receives them free of charge. (When no payment is made.)
Import is possible through brief procedures such as a reason for entry and information verification.
2. When a business purchases them for a fee by paying the price.
You may apply for exemption from import requirements through the proper procedure via the MFDS.
Submission of required information such as intended use and user information is required.
Valid until: April 30, 2020 (subject to change)
