[Delaware] Notice of transfer delays due to UPS delivery delays
2021-04-08
Hello
Due to a large number of COVID-19 cases at the UPS center in Delaware,
the number of staff on duty has been significantly reduced.
As a result, the UPS schedule that used to deliver in the morning is temporarily being pushed to the afternoon.
Since the New Jersey transfer truck must depart around noon in order for freight to be received in New Jersey by evening,
all shipments delivered in the afternoon are being loaded onto the next day’s transfer truck and moved.
Until the UPS schedule returns to normal, there may continue to be an additional delay of one business day. We appreciate your understanding.
In particular, freight delivered to the Delaware center on Friday afternoon cannot be transferred over the weekend, so transfer and receiving work will take place on the following Monday.
We apologize for the unavoidable delay.
Thank you.
